Advice for cycling to Gtech Community Stadium, including details on our free, secure bike parking and designated Bike to Brentford matchdays

Cycling to Brentford matches is a great way to travel sustainably, stay active and save money on your journey to matchdays at Gtech Community Stadium, with free, secure bike parking available every match.

Fans travelling to games is one of Brentford's biggest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. To improve our impact on the environment, we’re encouraging as many Bees fans as possible to cycle to matches.

We provide free, secure bike parking on matchdays at our permanent bike rack on the north-west corner of the stadium. The bike rack is staffed at all times, located next to the stadium and easily accessible by road and cycle highway. On selected matchdays, we also provide additional capacity for cyclists.

This year, we’re expanding our rewards scheme to offer prizes and discounts for fans who cycle regularly to matches.

Use the QR codes to check in at the permanent bike racks, and at the temporary bike parks on selected matchdays to earn rewards, prizes and discounts.

Bikes must be checked in using the QR codes at either bike park. If you need assistance checking in, speak to a steward.

Earn rewards as you check in on matchdays

Check your bike in using the QR codes multiple times this season and win rewards:

3 qualifying matches: 20% off a Food & Beverage (F&B) voucher, redeemable at participating matchday catering outlets.

5 qualifying matches: A standard Bike to Brentford F&B voucher (one free drink and one free food item).

10 qualifying matches: A mention in the matchday programme and the Participant’s name and photo displayed on the big screen at a home fixture, to celebrate their contribution.

12 qualifying matches: The opportunity to take part in a player call hosted with VRTL.

15 qualifying matches: Entry into a prize draw for the chance to win a signed matchday shirt

Extra bike parking spaces

Free, temporary bike parks will be available outside Brentford Studios on Lionel Road South to provide additional capacity for cyclists. This temporary site can also be used to park Forest and Voi E-bikes to end your ride.

Bike parks are staffed at all times and provide storage for items such as helmet and e-bike batteries. Please bring a bike lock with you.

The temporary bike park will close 45 minutes after full-time. After this, parking infrastructure will be put away and the bike park will not be staffed. Please remember to collect your bike prior to this.

Free bike maintenance before kick-off

An experienced bike mechanic will be on site at our temporary bike park for minor repairs and adjustments to wheels, brakes, gears, pedals and saddles. Use this opportunity ensure your bike is road safe.

Maintenance opens every matchday from two hours before kick-off until the match starts and is first come, first served.

Please note, Dr Bike will not be present at the Sunderland fixture on September 5

Enjoy discounted e-bike rental on matchday

We’re offering discount codes on E-bike rental with Forest and Voi. Codes are only valid on matchday and will expire 24 hours after activation.

Ride with other fans to the match

The Sustaina-Bees, a group of sustainability-minded Brentford supporters, will be organising group rides before and after home matches, starting and returning to locations across west London. Rides are fan-led with trained ride-leaders. You can join the group on Facebook for information on how to join a group ride.

Where to park on matchday

We provide free, secure bike parking on matchdays at our permanent bike rack on the North West corner of the stadium at every game. The bike rack is staffed at all times, located next to the stadium and easily accessible by road and cycle highway.

On Bike to Brentford dedicated matchdays we add more free, secure bike parking capacity organised by Wheelskeep, available outside Brentford Studios on Lionel Road South. This temporary site can also be used to park Forest and Voi e-bikes to end your ride.

E-bikes

Forest and Voi are the two e-bike operators in Hounslow.

E-bike parking locations can be found near to the stadium. See our map the map above for e-bike parking locations in our area.

Lime no longer operates in Hounslow and you will not be able to finish your Lime ride anywhere in the borough. The nearest location to park a Lime bike is south of Kew Bridge (in the Borough of Richmond, still serviced by Lime).

For fans travelling on matchday:

Hounslow: Forest and Voi, no parking for Lime
Richmond: Forest only, Lime and Voi ride-through only
Ealing: Lime, Voi & Forest

We are working with our local e-bike providers to provide discount codes to help Bees fans cycle to the Gtech on matchdays. We will update this space with the relevant codes closer to matchdays. The codes will be valid for selected time periods on matchdays.

General advice for cyclists on matchdays

Our permanent bike rack at the Gtech is free to use on matchdays. The bike rack is staffed at all times.

Find the bike rack outside the northwest corner of the stadium on Lionel Road South. Please remember to bring your own bike lock.

Additional temporary parking will be made available on our designated Bike to Brentford matchdays.

Please note that e-bike parking at our Bike to Brentford temporary bike racks is not available outside of Bike to Brentford designated matchdays.

Cycle highways across west London will help you ride to the match safely and in good time. Highway C9 is the closest you can cycle to the Gtech using one of these routes.

Highways are available from Ealing, Notting Hill, Hammersmith, Isleworth and Twickenham. Use the TfL website to find your nearest route.

We encourage all cycling fans to get together and cycle as a group to matches. You can also join the Sustaina-Bees, a group of sustainability-minded Brentford supporters, who schedule fan-led, group rides to home and away fixtures.

You can bring your helmet inside the stadium.

There is no storage for items at Gtech Community Stadium. Only small bags are permitted inside the stadium (10L or 34cm x 24cm x 11cm).

Cycling Safety Tips: Wear a helmet, follow the Highway Code, wear bright/reflective clothing, and stay alert—no phones or earphones while riding.

What to expect from a Bike to Brentford matchday

Extra capacity for secure bike storage is available on matchday at the Gtech using our temporary bike park.

These bike parks are secure, staffed at all times and provide storage for items such as helmets and e-bike batteries.

Find the bike park outside the Bees Superstore next to Brentford Studios, open two hours before kick-off and closing two hours after full-time.

Fans can also store their bikes at our permanent bike racks outside the northwest corner of the stadium on Lionel Road South. If you are cycling to the match, please remember to bring your own bike lock. If the permanent bike racks are full, please use the Bike to Brentford park at Brentford Studios.

At our temporary bike park at Brentford Studios, we are offering free bike maintenance services by Dr Bike.

Bike maintenance runs up until kick-off and is first come, first served. Arrive early to have the best chance of being seen.
