The club is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk of harm and requires all staff, volunteers and others associated with the Club to share and endorse this commitment.
As part of this commitment, all staff are expected to undertake regular safeguarding and welfare related training and to ensure the environments in which they work remain safe at all times. This includes ensuring best practices are adopted at all times, and incidents or concerns are proactively reported. Safeguarding is considered everybody’s responsibility.
Reporting a Concern
If you have a concern about the safety or welfare of a child or adult at risk involved with Brentford FC, you must take immediate action.
In the first instance, speak with the person in charge of supervising the activity who will forward your concern to a member of the Safeguarding team.
If you cannot speak with someone immediately, contact a member of the safeguarding team via [email protected] or using the contact details below.
A member of the team will respond to your concern and advise on the next best course of action.
Please note that your concern will be managed sensitively, and information will only be shared if it is necessary to ensure the safety of a child or adult at risk.
Out of hours (after 6pm and weekends): You can contact a helpline, such as the NSPCC, for advice. If you are concerned for your immediate safety or the safety of someone else, please dial 999 and report your concerns to police services.
