Brentford Women play their second Wheatsheaf Park game of the season as they take on Sport London E Benfica in the London and South East Premier Division on Wednesday 1 October. (7:45pm kick-off).
The Bees who currently sit top of the table are in search of a seventh league win in as many games to keep up their 100 per cent record.
Brentford return to league and Wheatsheaf Park action on Wednesday evening following a 2-1 victory over Ashford Town last weekend.
Carly Williams’ side sit top of the LSE Premier Division after winning all six of their opening matches, taking maximum points so far. Saltdean United dropped to second following their defeat to Dartford at the weekend, while Dartford are the only other side alongside Brentford with a perfect record. They hold a game in hand and currently boast a superior goal difference to the Bees.
Last time out
The west Londoners made it six wins from six in the league with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ashford Town. Chelsie Berry cancelled out the visitors’ opener before Alissa Down scored a spectacular second-half winner to secure all three points.
After the match, Down praised the squad’s togetherness, chemistry and team spirit: "Ultimately, we got that result over the line that we needed, obviously it is hard sometimes to play against your former side but I am a Brentford player now and I am happy we got the three points.
"There is a real togetherness and strong squad spirit which is helping us build chemistry. With a lot of new players it can be difficult sometimes but I think we have all come together really well and we are focused on achieving our goals."

Wednesday’s fixture marks the first league meeting between the two clubs since the 2023/24 campaign, when Sport London E Benfica edged Brentford to promotion from the London and South East Division One South.
It has been a difficult start to the season for Brentford's opponents though as they sit bottom of the table after five matches. They are yet to register a point, with five defeats from five and a goal difference of -17. Last time out, they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Dorking Wanderers.
