Thousands of Stories tells the stories of Brentford’s people. After two seasons focusing on staff and fans, season three consists of films that focus on the club’s value of togetherness. 

This year’s stories take an intimate look into the personal lives of our players, and the relationships that strengthen them. 

To play for Brentford is to build a unique connection to a special club. For series three of Thousands of Stories, the club had unprecedented access into our players’ private moments when they discussed how Brentford has shaped their lives, and the lives of their loved ones.    

The Bromance

Together, they’re one of football’s most prolific partnerships, but there’s more to Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa’s friendship than just goals and assists. 

We join the duo as they remember how they met at Brentford, and how they’ve built a relationship that uplifts and supports one another, on and off the field.

A Brentford love story 

Brought together by the club, bound forever by marriage. 

Former Brentford centre-backs, Karleigh and Amanda Osborne, remember their playing days where their love blossomed. 

The pair meet in the Griffin Pub for an honest conversation reflecting on how they met, their playing careers, Karleigh’s career as Brentford Women coach and how they’ve balanced family life and the beautiful game. 

From Bucheon to Brentford

Player Ji-soo Kim and Brentford’s head of individual player development, Steven Pressley both left South Korea and Scotland at a young age to pursue a career in football.
