What are TAPs?
TAPs stands for Ticket Access Points which are given to fans who attend games to reward loyalty.
The amount of TAPs awarded per fixtures varies and depends on several factors such as; distance travelled, date of fixture, travel disruption, TV broadcast arrangements, anticipated demand. The final TAPs value for each fixture will be confirmed when the on-sale information is communicated.
From the 2025 26 season, TAPs balances will include the four previous season plus TAPs accrued in the upcoming season. This new system prioritises recent, consistent attendance. Find out more about the new rolling TAPs system here.
What are match categories?
Brentford FC categorises all Premier League fixtures as either Category A* (Cat A*), Category A (Cat A) or Category B (Cat B).
These designations are based on anticipated demand for tickets, stadium capacity, security assessments, and club rivalries.
Cat B games go on sale to all members, regardless of TAPs, Cat A fixtures require members to have a minimum of 40 Taps, and Cat A* fixtures require 100+ TAPs.
